I had been waiting to read this and I was not disappointed. This first novel is a page-turner that I had trouble putting down -- could have read it in a single night had the hour not gotten so late. It is a stimulating, thought-provoking, spiritual journey by a heroine who is charged with no less a task than saving humanity and the earth we depend upon. The adventures she encounters and the challenges she meets are riveting. The author's obvious concern for the current threats to the environment and to humanity are key to the plot. The heroine's psychological and spiritual journey as she meets the challenges is a subplot that adds to the depth of the novel. And there is much rich imagery to please the fantasy crowd. The author's description of famed Atlantis and its inhabitants is beautiful and inspiring, revealing a very creative imagination. I also like how the author weaves other ancient mythical figures and fantasy creatures into the drama. And, yes, there is a bit of romance suggested to sweeten the tale! Definitely a must-read for any fantasy reader and would be an excellent book for high school teachers to utilize to give their students a multi-disciplinary approach that combines good literature, science, psychology and fantasy in an exciting plot that nonetheless is grounded in serious concerns for the environment and the fate of human and animal life on this planet.Product details

I started to read Christa's book and found that I couldn't put it down. My wife and I read it together and really enjoyed it.
I am amazed by the author's imagination and insight. I loved this book. It was truly inspired writing and a truly inspiring read! Highly recommended!
